Leadville 100 Bike RaceMore than 1500 racers from 21 different countries taking part in The Leadville 100 mountain bike race. The event starts today in Leadville, Colorado at 6:30 a.m local time. The track is quite challanging due to altitude condition. They will start at 10,500 feet to a peak of 12,600 feet and back again to the finish line.

But among those 1500 racers, there is no name Lance Armstrong in the list. He pulled out due to a lingering hip injury he got from the Tour de France. But that's not a big dissapointment because other big name lining up on the start line such as Matt Shriver, Dave Wiens and Levi Leipheimer.
