Marine Corps Marathon 2011 registration open today on Anniversary of Iwo Jima Flag Raising. 66 years ago the American flag was raised during the Battle of Iwo Jima on Mount Suribachi. The 36th Marine Corps Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011.
